This isn’t your typical accounting role — you’ll be a key player in guiding our accounting team, supporting the Controller, and keeping financial operations running smoothly across the organization.
What You’ll Do:
· Assists the Controller in implementing and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
· Supports the controller in overseeing the daily operations of the finance team including:
- Month and end-year financial records closing process
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Process and Procedures Implementation and Oversight
- Finance department process and procedures implementation and oversight
- Weekly check printing, credit card and ACH payment processing
- Job cost analysis and Work In-Process preparation
- Accounts receivable collections and documentation
- Accounts receivable invoice review
- Vendor and customer compliance
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Additional as directed
· Reviews and monitors accounting data to ensure accuracy and completeness; prepares or assists in preparing financial reports and statements.
· Provides guidance and direction to accounting staff to support accuracy, timeliness, and professional growth.
· Supports audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
· Assists with regulatory and compliance reporting as needed.
· Conducts self at all times in a professional, ethical, and courteous manner as a representative of the Company.
What You Bring:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
· Three – five years of accounting experience, including prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
· Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
· Vista by Viewpoint software experience – Preferred.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and guide a team to accuracy and efficiency.
· Proficiency with basic computer systems and finance-related software.

What You’ll Be Doing
· Perform structural steel welding in accordance with codes, specs, and quality standards
· Weld using SMAW (Stick), FCAW (Flux-Core), and/or GMAW (MIG) depending on the job
· Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols
· Fit, align, and assemble beams, columns, plates, and steel connections
· Ensure weld quality meets structural and visual requirements (penetration, strength, appearance)
· Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently
· Inspect completed welds and correct any deficiencies
· Grind, clean, and finish welds as required
