As our Safety Manager, you’ll provide leadership and support for Viocity’s Safety Program while partnering with supervisors, employees, and leadership to ensure safety remains at the heart of everything we do. What You’ll Do

· Lead our safety program by developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures that meet OSHA and applicable local, state, and federal requirements.

· Train and empower employees on workplace safety, fire prevention, hazardous materials, proper equipment use, and safe work practices.

· Conduct regular safety meetings, training sessions, and job-site inspections at both company facilities and field locations.

· Identify potential hazards and develop corrective and preventative solutions to keep our employees and job sites safe.

· Lead accident and injury investigations, determine root causes, and recommend actions to prevent future incidents.

· Prepare and submit required accident and regulatory reports.

· Oversee the workers’ compensation program, working closely with our insurance carrier to help reduce lost time and support employees throughout the process.

· Maintain accurate safety records, files, and documentation.

· Develop safety communications, including signage, posters, barriers, exhibits, and training materials.

· Support safety initiatives with customers, contractors, and other non-company personnel.

· Represent Viocity Group at industry events, safety organizations, conferences, and community programs.

· Partner with leadership and employees to continuously improve our safety culture and operating performance.

· Perform other duties as assigned while consistently following company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Estimator

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely estimates for metal fabrication parts and assemblies in response to customer requests for quotation (RFQs).

This position plays an important role in supporting our sales and financial objectives by developing competitive, accurate estimates and coordinating awarded projects through completion. The Estimator will work closely with customers, vendors, production, and other internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to or above customer expectations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Analyze blueprints, drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare estimates for equipment time, materials, labor, and overall project costs.

· Prepare timely and accurate quotes in response to customer RFQs.

· Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of equipment, materials, and manufacturing processes.

· Track actual project costs against estimates and bids to help improve future estimating accuracy.

· Consult with customers, vendors, and internal departments to develop estimates, clarify requirements, and resolve issues.

· Work with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors regarding changes and adjustments to cost estimates.

· Prepare estimates and cost information to assist in the selection of vendors and subcontractors.

· Review material and labor requirements and determine whether components should be manufactured internally or purchased from outside suppliers.

· Follow awarded jobs from the estimating stage through invoicing to help ensure projects are completed and shipped on schedule.

· Develop and maintain a current directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date estimating and production documentation, including quote logs, job schedules, and job traveler forms.

· Communicate with customers regarding material availability and coordinate pickup or delivery.

· Arrange customer deliveries through internal transportation resources as needed.

· Prepare and/or coordinate required shipping documentation, including packing slips and bills of lading.

· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 

 

The ideal candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong communication skills are important, as this position regularly interacts with customers, vendors, subcontractors, engineers, and internal teams.

· Previous estimating experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, welding, machining, or a related industry.

What You’ll Do

Inspect and Verify Quality

· Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of fabricated assemblies, pressure vessels, piping systems, structural components, and welded products.

· Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, levels, squares, and other inspection tools.

· Verify material traceability, heat numbers, and material certifications.

Manage Quality Documentation

· Maintain accurate inspection reports, weld maps, material traceability records, and quality documentation.

· Compile turnover packages and project closeout documentation for customers.

· Assist with Manufacturing Data Reports (MDRs), welder qualification records, and ASME documentation requirements.

· Ensure all quality records are complete, organized, and maintained according to company procedures.

 

Resolve Quality Issues

· Identify and document nonconforming materials, welds, or fabrication activities.

· Generate and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

· Partner with production teams, engineers, project managers, and customers to resolve quality concerns.

· Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.

Support Compliance & Continuous Improvement

· Assist with internal, customer, and third-party audits.

· Support compliance with ASME requirements, welding standards, and quality management systems.

· Help improve inspection processes, reduce rework, and increase operational efficiency.

· Train and coach team members on quality expectations and best practices.

 

Maintain Inspection Equipment

· Verify calibration status of measuring and inspection equipment.

· Coordinate calibration and repair activities when necessary.

· Ensure inspection tools remain accurate and compliant.

 

What We’re Looking For:

Required Qualifications

· High School Diploma or GED.
