Summary
This position is the first point of contact to the public, must have a friendly personality that seeks to serve our customers, potential and current employees. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter that doesn’t require micromanaging, will have strong phone and interpersonal skills, will be a fluent typist and be proficient in Word and Excel. - Conducts research, and compiles and types of reports.
- Composes and types of routine correspondence.
- Makes copies of correspondence or other printed materials.
- Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes.
- Assists with related special projects, as required.
- Performs receptionist duties.
- Accurately enter data in company systems, invoices, timesheets, etc.
- Files and maintains an organized filling system.
- Maintaining organized and accurate records, updating databases, calendars, and other files.
- Assumes responsibility for maintenance of office equipment, including computers, copy machines and fax machines.
- Maintains office supplies by checking inventory and order items.

The Staff Accountant position will facilitate general ledger accounting, perform month-end closing procedures, and establish more efficient accounting procedures. Responsibilities include reconciling bank statements and various account balances, preparing and entering journal entries, documenting general ledger balances, providing supporting documentation to independent auditors, and improving month-end close procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Reconcile month-end account balances including cash, accounts receivable, inventory, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accounts payable, accrued expenses, debt, and other assets & liabilities.
- Work with the Accounts Payable and the Accounts Receivable teams as needed to ensure proper recording of expenses, and cash payments and receipts.
- Make appropriate accounting entries and journal entries.
- Analyze financial information and prepare ad hoc financial analysis and reports.
- Improve design of spreadsheets to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Suggest ways to improve efficiency in accounting procedures and operations.
- Provide supporting documentation and assistance to independent auditors.
- Assist in providing information to outside auditors and tax accountants.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, FRF for SMEs and applicable tax laws.
- Follows all company policies, procedures and safety rules. Conducts self at all times in a professional, ethical and courteous manner as a representative of the Company.

- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Reporting Framework for Small and Medium Size Entities (FRF for SMEs)
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

Mathematical Skills

This position will fabricate, assemble, install and as necessary, repair metal parts and products while supporting the achievement of established operating objectives.

- Calculate inside and outside dimensions to assure proper fit.
- Determine project requirements, including scope, assembly sequences and required methods and materials, according to blueprints, drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Lay out, measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on material, according to drawings or templates, using calculators, scribes, dividers, squares and rulers.
- Convert blueprints into shop drawings to be followed in the construction and assembly of sheet metal products.
- Select gauges and types of metal, according to product specifications.
- Examine workpieces for defects to ensure conformance with specifications.
- Recognize, set up and operate hand and power tools common to the industry.
- Shear, saw, cut, roll, bend, drill or weld metal.
- Fasten seams and joints together with welds, bolts, rivets, solder, metal drive clips and bonds to assemble components into products or to repair metal items.
- Travel when necessary to install units.
- Maneuver completed units into position for installation and anchor the units.
- Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites, using correct tools.
- Detect faulty operation of equipment and/or defective materials and notify supervisors.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting Project Managers with administration, tracking, coordination, and successful completion of various project(s) to meet schedule and cost objectives. This individual must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment while understanding that urgency and accuracy are paramount to the success of the department. Excellent communication, data entry and problem-solving skills are required.

- Assists Project Managers in the day-to-day operations of the Project Management department to achieve organizational and departmental goals.
- Assists with requests for information on quotes relating to jobs and new customer account information.
- Understands subcontracts and reviews details for accuracy
- Conducts contract or PO reviews to ensure accuracy before billing is generated.
- Creates job set-ups and job folders when necessary.
- Prepares pre-qualification forms.
- Sets up and maintains documents for customer and contract accounts.
- Schedules equipment and orders material per consultation with Projects Managers.
- Provides cost tracking of jobs, especially T&M, track extras along with cost.
- Updates change logs.
- Informs Project Manager of equipment concerns or needs.
- Communicates with work crews when necessary.
- Assists in informing staff of schedules, changes to schedule and providing and completing information to keep schedules up-to-date.
- Responsible for coordinating the exchange of information between the job supervisor and Project Manager by informing necessary staff of changes in materials, material and equipment returns or call off rent.
- Assists in checking deliveries/materials and ensuring packing lists are complete and accurate.
- Assists in checking on the status of shop supplied materials or fabrications.

Align, fit, weld and join metal components while supporting the achievement of established operating objectives. This position is responsible for protecting and promoting the interest of the company in all matters as specified.

- Position, align, fit, weld parts to form complete units or subunits, follows blueprints and layout specifications, using fixtures, welding torches and hand tools.
- Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications, using squares, rulers and measuring tapes.
- Lay out and examine metal stock or workpieces to be processed in order to ensure that specifications are met.
- Align and fit parts according to specifications, using jacks, turnbuckles, wedges, drift pins, pry bars and hammers.
- Locate and mark workpiece bending and cutting lines, allowing for stock thickness, machine and welding shrinkage, and other component specifications.
- Position or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, and/or bolt straps, or bolt parts in position for welding or riveting.
- Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials requirements and task sequences.
- Move parts into position, manually or by using hoists or cranes.
- Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
- Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions.
- Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind and/or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
- Detect faulty operation of equipment and/or defective materials and notify supervisors.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, shielded metal arc, resistance welding and submerged arc welding.
- Monitor the fitting, burning and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion or expansion of materials.
- Examine workpieces for defects to ensure conformance with specifications.
- Recognize, set up and operate hand and power tools common to the industry.
- Operates company vehicles/equipment in a safe and courteous manner and properly parks and secures vehicles at all times.
- Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.

Qualifications
- Two -Three years related experience.
- Ability to perform sanitary fit up and weld to print
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint and other written instructions. 1 year required.
- Pipe fitting experience 1 year preferred.
- TIG welding three (3) years required.
- Food, pharmaceutical, beverage, or consumer products industry experience 1 year preferred.
- Knowledge of equipment and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to compute basic shop math.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
