At Viocity Group, we’re seeking a driven individual eager to expand their experience in the private accounting sector and take their career to the next level.
The Project Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial management and reporting of specific projects within the organization. They will work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure that project budgets are maintained, expenses are monitored, and financial objectives are met. The role involves managing project finances from inception through completion, including budgeting, cost control, revenue recognition, invoicing, and compliance with contractual requirements. This individual will provide crucial financial insights to help ensure project profitability and overall success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Provide financial guidance and oversight for specific projects.
2. Prepare and monitor project budgets.
3. Generate financial reports detailing project profitability, revenue, and cost analysis.
4. Track project expenses to ensure they align within the budget.
5. Analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs.
6. Work with Project Managers to identify areas of cost reduction.
7. Work with Project Managers, clients, and internal departments to provide financial support and resolve issues.
8. Review invoices based on project milestones or time and materials.
9. Ensure accurate and timely billing to customers.
10. Monitor compliance with contractual agreements, including scopes and deliverables.
11. Attend project meetings to give financial updates and offer advice on project financial health.
12. Identify financial risks in projects and recommend strategies to mitigate them.
13. Suggest ways to improve efficiency in accounting procedures and operations.
14. Assist in providing information to outside auditors and tax accountants.
15. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
16. Follow all company policies, procedures and safety rules.
17. Conduct self at all times in a professional, ethical and courteous manner as a representative of the company.

The Project Engineer position for Keystruct Construction will provide timely, accurate information and support services to Project Managers, Estimators and Superintendents in organizing, controlling, monitoring and recording all activities which are part of the construction management phases of a project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assists Project Managers with cost control and scheduling activities.
- Assists Project Managers with meeting assigned deadlines.
- Assists with interpreting drawings, specifications and field issues.
- Procures material and equipment and expedites delivery of same.
- Processes administrative work including change-orders, submittals, shop drawings and RFIs.
- Acts as a liaison between the owner(s), architect, engineer and subcontractors and project managers.
- Works on multiple projects at the same time.
- Efficiently executes projects assigned while maintaining successful relationships with project owner(s), architect(s), engineer(s), subcontractor(s), suppliers and the Keystruct field team and cultivating relationships for future projects.
- Schedules turn-over meetings with Estimator, Superintendent, and Director to review estimates, drawings, scope of work, owner contract information, subcontractor scopes and buyout.
- Assists with developing and executing all subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Assists with providing Superintendent with drawings, scope of work, critical contract information, cost control information, job contact list and subcontract/purchase order agreements.
- Assists with scheduling pre-job conference with subcontractors/suppliers to review scope of work
- Communicates with the Superintendent daily advising them of any changes or clarifications in the work.
- Works with project team to create and update the project schedule weekly.
- Reviews schedule with critical subcontractors/suppliers to ensure they are on schedule and material will arrive on time.
- Expedites and controls RFI & Submittal processes to keep contract schedule on track.
- Visits each job weekly (or more frequently if needed) to observe job progress.
- Assists with monitoring jobsite safety.
- Reviews job costs and labor hours with the Superintendent weekly.
- Documents all schedule delays.
- Assists with scheduling weekly jobsite meetings with the owner, subcontractors and suppliers; keep them abreast of deadlines that are coming up that need to be met. Document these discussions in meeting minutes.
- Assists with submitting monthly progress billings to accounting prior to the billing deadline outlined in the owner’s contract.
- Compares job costs to progress billings for positive cash flow.
- Assists with submitting timely and accurate cost in completion reports at the end of each month.
- Schedules job close-out meeting and prepare close-out report to review at meeting.
- Requires responsibility for confidentiality where negligence could have a significant impact on the company or its employees.

- Calculate inside and outside dimensions to assure proper fit.
- Determine project requirements, including scope, assembly sequences and required methods and materials, according to blueprints, drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Lay out, measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on material, according to drawings or templates, using calculators, scribes, dividers, squares and rulers.
- Convert blueprints into shop drawings to be followed in the construction and assembly of sheet metal products.
- Select gauges and types of metal, according to product specifications.
- Examine workpieces for defects to ensure conformance with specifications.
- Recognize, set up and operate hand and power tools common to the industry.
- Shear, saw, cut, roll, bend, drill or weld metal.
- Fasten seams and joints together with welds, bolts, rivets, solder, metal drive clips and bonds to assemble components into products or to repair metal items.
- Travel when necessary to install units.
- Maneuver completed units into position for installation and anchor the units.

Align, fit, weld and join metal components while supporting the achievement of established operating objectives. This position is responsible for protecting and promoting the interest of the company in all matters as specified.

- Position, align, fit, weld parts to form complete units or subunits, follows blueprints and layout specifications, using fixtures, welding torches and hand tools.
- Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications, using squares, rulers and measuring tapes.
- Lay out and examine metal stock or workpieces to be processed in order to ensure that specifications are met.
- Align and fit parts according to specifications, using jacks, turnbuckles, wedges, drift pins, pry bars and hammers.
- Locate and mark workpiece bending and cutting lines, allowing for stock thickness, machine and welding shrinkage, and other component specifications.
- Position or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, and/or bolt straps, or bolt parts in position for welding or riveting.
- Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials requirements and task sequences.
- Move parts into position, manually or by using hoists or cranes.
- Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
- Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions.
- Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind and/or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
- Detect faulty operation of equipment and/or defective materials and notify supervisors.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, shielded metal arc, resistance welding and submerged arc welding.
- Monitor the fitting, burning and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion or expansion of materials.
- Examine workpieces for defects to ensure conformance with specifications.
- Recognize, set up and operate hand and power tools common to the industry.
- Operates company vehicles/equipment in a safe and courteous manner and properly parks and secures vehicles at all times.

- Food, pharmaceutical, beverage, or consumer products industry experience 1 year preferred.
- Knowledge of equipment and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to compute basic shop math.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
