Summary
The Staff Accountant position will facilitate general ledger accounting, perform month-end closing procedures, and establish more efficient accounting procedures. Responsibilities include reconciling bank statements and various account balances, preparing and entering journal entries, documenting general ledger balances, providing supporting documentation to independent auditors, and improving month-end close procedures.

- Reconcile month-end account balances including cash, accounts receivable, inventory, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accounts payable, accrued expenses, debt, and other assets & liabilities.
- Work with the Accounts Payable and the Accounts Receivable teams as needed to ensure proper recording of expenses, and cash payments and receipts.
- Make appropriate accounting entries and journal entries.
- Analyze financial information and prepare ad hoc financial analysis and reports.
- Improve design of spreadsheets to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Suggest ways to improve efficiency in accounting procedures and operations.
- Provide supporting documentation and assistance to independent auditors.
- Assist in providing information to outside auditors and tax accountants.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, FRF for SMEs and applicable tax laws.
- Follows all company policies, procedures and safety rules. Conducts self at all times in a professional, ethical and courteous manner as a representative of the Company.

- BS degree in accounting or the equivalent; CPA is a Plus

- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Reporting Framework for Small and Medium Size Entities (FRF for SMEs)
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

Summary:
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for ensuring that Viocity Group, and all its affiliates, works as hard marketing their own brand as they do in managing all other aspects of running the companies and producing work for their clients. By doing a better job of marketing, the companies will have better support for their sales efforts. The Marketing Specialist is the internal gatekeeper of the Viocity brands and how they are portrayed in the marketplace. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the marketing strategy and execution, internally and in coordination with Viocity’ s marketing agency of record (AOR).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and hold weekly progress/update meetings with the AOR. Coordinate and facilitate efficient execution of any pending tasks.
- Ensure that the company’s website is constantly refreshed and updated with information, case studies, and new capabilities/products as applicable. Be familiar with and able to make updates through the CMS.
- Maintain current permission-based client and prospect directories, e.g. email lists, address lists, etc. that can be used for direct marketing communications
- Generate and maintain a “pipeline” of upcoming marketing opportunities and ensure content is captured from these opportunities for use in future marketing efforts. Maintain regular communication with the AOR to plan for these opportunities and ensure they are maximized to build a growing library of content.
- Review and respond to monthly SEO and analytics recommendations from the AOR, and ensure that any appropriate action steps are taken.
- Conduct periodic audits of the companies’ social media account and ensure that the full and most applicable list of platforms is being used at any given time, and being kept current with content to foster engagement.
- Provide timely and consistent social media community management (manage posts, comments, replies, messages, etc., for all company social media pages) in coordination with the AOR on overall marketing strategy, positioning, messaging, and content.
- Develop a list of publications and/or platforms for cross-promotional or advertising opportunities across all divisions and coordinate with the AOR on ways to leverage these opportunities at relevant times (e.g. ads, feature articles, white papers, case studies, conferences, speaking opportunities, awards/recognitions, etc.)
- Identify all industry listing opportunities and ensure the companies are present and information is current on these listings.
- Serve as a resource to sales efforts when needed, helping to ensure that language being used in sales materials and pitches is consistent with overall brand positioning and messaging.
- Leverage and facilitate PR opportunities around new capabilities, projects, community giving, etc., coordinating positioning and messaging with the AOR as applicable.

- Calculate inside and outside dimensions to assure proper fit.
- Determine project requirements, including scope, assembly sequences and required methods and materials, according to blueprints, drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Lay out, measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on material, according to drawings or templates, using calculators, scribes, dividers, squares and rulers.
- Convert blueprints into shop drawings to be followed in the construction and assembly of sheet metal products.
- Select gauges and types of metal, according to product specifications.
- Examine workpieces for defects to ensure conformance with specifications.
- Recognize, set up and operate hand and power tools common to the industry.
- Shear, saw, cut, roll, bend, drill or weld metal.
- Fasten seams and joints together with welds, bolts, rivets, solder, metal drive clips and bonds to assemble components into products or to repair metal items.
- Travel when necessary to install units.

They will help create processes and procedures to support the department and individuals within it while upholding the mission and values established by the organization.

- Works with Management to maintain and plan approaches and tactics to expand business relationships with existing customers, identify and develop relationships with new customers and prospects for new business.

- Position, align, fit, weld parts to form complete units or subunits, follows blueprints and layout specifications, using fixtures, welding torches and hand tools.
- Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications, using squares, rulers and measuring tapes.
- Lay out and examine metal stock or workpieces to be processed in order to ensure that specifications are met.
- Align and fit parts according to specifications, using jacks, turnbuckles, wedges, drift pins, pry bars and hammers.
- Locate and mark workpiece bending and cutting lines, allowing for stock thickness, machine and welding shrinkage, and other component specifications.
- Position or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, and/or bolt straps, or bolt parts in position for welding or riveting.
- Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials requirements and task sequences.
- Move parts into position, manually or by using hoists or cranes.
- Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
- Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions.
